Monika, my dear little sister,
We lived apart for most of our lives, but the geographical distance was not a heart distance. Our childhood chewing gum fantasies kept us connected to the end. Your absence now is very different. I will miss your sparkling personality, your sometimes brutal sense of humor, your laughter, your misspelled words, your organization, your voice, your convictions, your stubbornness, your giving spirit, your beautifully served breakfasts, your love of dogs. Thanks to your videos I learned about the amazing loves between animals. Wish we could learn from them.
